Here's the word:

All the mp3s on this page are encoded wav files.I haven't had the time , nor anywhere near the money to cut a cd.The encoder that I used doesn't do the most fantastic job either, but don't think that means it sounds like garbage, because it is quite good for what it is.(Trust me you've heard WAAAAYYYYY worse...)

All I did was run from the outputs on my tape deck ,to the line-in on my sound card. Then I used Voyetra to record.I'm sure someone out there has a better method of doing this.I'd appreciate it if you let me in on it.

Further, all of this was done on a 4-track.No overdubs, no bouncing ,just 4 tracks.(Although I did cut in and out on the vocal tracks for leads)The bass is just my guitar going through my processor.I programmed the drums on a DR-550(not mine ,I borrowed it).And as for the vocals ,my singer and I just stood in the basement and went for it.SOOOOOOOO!!!!!Now that I have totally scared you off, GO DOWNLOAD ONE OF THESE SONGS!!!!!

No Man    3.4MB
 Descent 4.9MB
Of My Soul      8.4MB

Green Axe Six is currently undergoing major changes.

For starters, the band used to be known as Stress Factor.Needless to say, that project was doomed from the beginning. We were asking people to be way too open-minded.(All of the members keep in touch ,but we haven't played out under the new name. Why? you ask..............

Well, for now myself and vocalist Fred Sullivan are beating our brains in coming up with original material.(3 of them are above)Once we get a demo together we're coming back. And this time WE WON"T GO AWAY!!!!MWAHH HAH HAH!!!!

Credit Where Its Due:

Original Line-Up:(as Stress Factor/alpha.)

Rick Ketterman-Guitar

Fred Sullivan-Vocals

Tim VanHouten(Flounder)-Bass

Jeff Weadon-Drums

All of us had a hand in the writing of "No Man" and "Descent".So, don't think I forgot about you.

And finally: One big HELL YEAH! to all those people in Cumberland who actually understood what we were trying to do.Although they're probably all locked up in jail for being open-minded thinkers......(beware the thought police are everywhere)

Here's a couple pics from a long ago Stress Factor gig.
